Located in Basildon, CDS Ltd is a true family business; originally established in 1982 by Colin Alefs, his stepson Stephen Ward took over before Stephen's brother Geoff Ward became Managing Director in 2016. Our vision is simple: If you need a fast, efficient solution 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our highly trained engineers are always on hand to get your drains flowing again.

Specialist in the commercial sector

Although we have many residential customers, our main area of expertise in the commercial sector. Clients include hospitals and care homes, building sites, large retail shops and centres, hotels, restaurants and public houses.

We are members of the NADC (National Association of Drainage Contractors), as well as Construction Line. Our membership with the NADC means that we are part of a national certified contractor network, aimed at raising industry standards and delivering the highest levels of service and quality control.

We hold relevant CSCS cards to work on construction sites and Confined Space Entry permits for those times when our staff need to work in enclosed spaces.

In addition, all CDS staff have been checked via Disclosure Scotland for your peace of mind.
